Prof. Ming Gao is a head and neck surgeon (chief surgeon) dedicated in the thyroid surgery and thyroid cancer research. His research interests are the clinical and biological behavior of papillary thyroid cancer, the early detection of highly aggressive DTC and the identification of pathogenic gene mutation of familial medullary thyroid cancer. He is the president of Head and Neck Oncology of CACA ; Former President, Chinese Association of Thyroid Oncology, CATO.
